Oatmeal StoutThese stouts must include oatmeal in their recipe, resulting in a pleasant, full flavour and smooth profile that is rich without being grainy. Roasted malt character of caramel and chocolate should be evident, smooth. Bitterness is moderate - not high. Hop flavour and aroma should not overpower the overall balance. Body will be medium to full with minimal fruity esters. Head retention and rich character will be part of the visual character of this beer.
